The National Catholic Youth Conference brings together some of the top Catholic talent in the country, but not all of them get an opportunity to play on the main stage in front of 20,000 Catholic young adults. Many participating acts go unnoticed.
To help with exposure to a larger audience, NCYC Unplugged was born, created by Rob Kaczmark of Spirit Juice Studios, Inc. NCYC Unplugged gives several Catholic artists an opportunity to show off their talent through impromptu concerts that occur throughout NCYC. This intimate experience allows the artist to truly connect with the fan and showcase their talent.
Spirit Juice Studios is a multi-disciplinary design studio comprised of individuals working mainly in the fields of film, web, print, motion design, and audio production. Based on the same idea of contemporary design for sorely lacking Catholic entities, the studio was founded by Rob Kaczmark and Bernie Czerwinski in the summer of 2007.
We stand for straight-forward and functional design solutions – and for that little something that makes things special and people smile. We think of our work as visual entertainment. Conceptional innovation and stunning design, on the highest technical level to focus on individual client needs.
Spirit Juice Studios is represented by a diverse, award-winning team skilled in many multimedia formats and disciplines. Our small and focused group serves as our greatest asset, as we're continually growing to meet the challenges placed on us to compete with multimedia firm's triple our size.
This highly-praised acoustic music series showcases some of today's top Catholic artists and introduces the stars of tomorrow. The series' roster runs the gamut from artists like Popple, Sarah Bauer, Point 5 Covenant, Lee Roessler, to indie gems such as Dante Schmitz, Best Served Warm, and Robbie Tiemann.

Back in 2007, Spirit Juice Studios was in attendance at the NCYC in Columbus, Ohio and were given unprecedented access to several artist performances. We walked away from the event with high-quality audio recordings, which have subsequently been professionally mixed and mastered for the optimal audio experience.

After the success of Volume 1, we at Spirit Juice Studio felt compelled to raise the bar. Instead of an audio recording, we opted to showcase the artists through music videos from performances at NCYC 2009.
